Our FIVER project is designed to make a huge difference to the lives of children. A small donation of £5 a month for a year from a number of individuals will bring about a change from poverty to having the basic needs met.
As we all know, once the most basic need of food and security (in the form of a roof over your head) is met, an individual can grow and thrive. Kids who are not having to focus on safety or being hungry, can focus their attention on education. Poverty and lack of educational opportunities go hand in hand. Education can lift them and tackle the very roots of poverty.
We are currently running at minimum capacity due to COVID-19 and the closure of the home to children has meant significantly reduced costs. However, if you would still like to donate towards the day scholars (25), then we would appreciate your contributions.
The harsh reality of this situation is that without a loving environment, many of these children will end up roaming the streets day and night.
