Miss P. Sitara
I am Miss P. Sitara, X class from Surampalli village, which is 40 Kilometers from ‘Neil’s Home’. My father died in hospital due to stomach pain when I was 4 years old; he used to work in the workshop, and my mother used to care for my brother and me at home. After my father’s death, my mother had a hard time to care for us. She used to leave us with our neighbours to go and work in the farms, to feed us. My mother used cry all the time about providing food for us.
When I reached 6 years of age, one of the Pastors (Pr. Isreal) came to pray for us in our home. After seeing my mother’s tears, he took me and my mother in an auto rickshaw and brought us to ‘Neil’s Home’. We waited in the Home for Mr Syam Prasad for half a day. As soon he arrived, the Pastor told our story to Syam sir. He immediately agreed to take me into the hostel, after hearing my family story.
Since the day I joined this beautiful Home, I am never hungry and never cried. I am the happiest child and thank God for all his love, and for giving such a nice place to study in a beautiful school, and live in the Lord. Along with many beautiful sisters and handsome brothers I thank all my sponsors for this beautiful privilege to study and stay in this nice place. In few months’ time I am writing my ICSE examinations, along with a few more friends. I request you to please continue to pray for our examinations.
Recently I accepted Jesus as my personal saviour in the presence of Neil sir and Sandra madam. I plead with you to help me to study my further education by supporting the Home. Once again I thank you so much.
D. Vinay Kumar
Vinay Kumar, in the 4th class, is from a small village which is 35 kilometers from our Home. His father died when Vinay was 6 months old – cause of death is not known. Vinay’s mother was suffering from chronic tuberculosis. Doctors had given up hope of treating her; she was just surviving and unable to care for little Vinay, her only son. He was brought to us by one of his relatives who had heard about our Home.
We are happy to have Vinay in our Home after hearing the sad story of his family. Except for his mother, who only comes to see Vinay once in 4 four months, no one comes to see him.
But he is a very good boy, and very fast in reading the Bible. He is a well-behaved child, so loving and careful. Vinay is one of the best children among all the wonderful children in the Home, and is loved by everyone there.
Please keep him in your loving prayers.
