Home > Have Faith India > Sunshine reminds us of India

Well it’s been a long hard trek since coming back. We’re all pining for India. The children were awesome and it was really tough to say cheerio. But here we are back in dear old blighty and wondering how we’re going to cope with us being here, them being there and so much more to do.

A wonderful friend has come up with the idea of a fiver club. Basically, you donate a fiver a month for 12 months to take care of the children’s basic needs. This gives us the opportunity to ramp up our buildings fund. So we’re going to aim for 500 people donating a fiver a month. So for the price of 2 cappuccino’s a month you can make a lifetime of change to these children. Please help if you can.

This trip reinforced my resolve and inspired me to get some serious fund-raising done this year. We need the dorms as soon as possible, so that we can get the children housed together centrally. Now that we have approval for the building, the clock is ticking to get the buildings up.
