I know the children send their regards to you all. It’s still raining in India at the moment, but the main monsoons have passed us by. We had to batten down the hatches and bring extra sand onto the land to keep the water at bay – 15 trucks later and we are all still in one piece.
We have been very fortunate this season, although we have had to return one little boy to what family he has, due to typhoid. The doctor is very concerned and it’s our protocol to return children to their village’s care if they become seriously ill. It’s such a fragile life out there for malnourished, impoverished people – the rest of our children are doing well though.
