We would like to introduce you to Shyam and Anu, both amazing children who could not be where they are without all of your support:
Master CH. Shyam Prasad comes from Athkur village, which is 50 Km from our home.
Shyam is 7 years old and the youngest of his family, his mother left him with his physically disabled father and went off; they still do not know where she is today.
Due to his disabilities, his father was not able to provide even a daily meal for his little boy, let
alone clothing and basic provisions. Through a village Pastor, Shyam was directed to our home; when he arrived, he was very weak and dirty.
Our hearts broke on meeting him and we took him in without hesitation. When Shyam first moved in he used to say, “I just came here only to eat and play, not to go to the school,” but now he is a wonderful, healthy and handsome child.
He is very good and loves playing with other little children. Sadly, his father is unable to visit and no one else visits Shyam, but he is a wonderful child and always happy.
.
Miss K. Anu is from Ammapalem village, Telangana state, which is 200 km from Nuzvid where we are.
Anu’s father died when she was 1 year old and she then moved in with her grandparents, as her mother works as a daily labourer.
With the little money her mother earns, she provides food and the basic provisions to take care of the needs of her children.
With the strain of their situation, Anu’s grandfather brought Anu to join us in our home; she has one older brother who is studying in 8th grade in our home too. Anu is a lovely young girl. She is very active in leading the songs in the worship service time and shows great commitment, even at such a young age, to praying and reading the Bible.
She is very clean and tidy and is always looking to help others. It is wonderful to have her in our home; please keep praying for Anu.
