I now need to meet a paediatrician who has been treating our children for free. Although all our children are healthy and thriving, they have twice-annual health checkups, which we have to pay for, on occasions when one is poorly, he has treated them for free. That helps a lot. So our plan will involve tracking him down to thank him personally.
The children were in excellent form during the week and although we are all a distraction during evening study hour (which actually lasts 2 hours during the week), I know they all like having us around. Our staff are very gracious. Yes I did say 2 hours of study a night – we don’t own a TV – education is a family’s welfare provision in later years, so that’s the number 1 focus in the week. Plenty of time for play at the weekend.., can’t wait.
