I am really pleased to report that all of the children who go back to what families they have over the summer period, have all come back. This is excellent news. We must be doing something right! In fact we know we are….
The school has had to put up the registration fees this year to try and claw back last year’s deficit. This means we have an extra £800 to find; it’s worth it though.
We may be taking in an additional 5 children to raise the number to 50. This does not require additional staff, just the additional mouths to feed once we get over the additional school registration fees. That is provided we get the places we need. Given that we are good payers, I don’t see that being an issue.
The real issue is to get more sponsors – or join the “FIVER” club; many thanks to those that already have. You’d be amazed what a difference a fiver a month can make.
