As previously mentioned, a few days ahead of the deadline date for payment of Sukumar’s hospital bill, the target amount of £4,500 was not only reached but exceeded, and the bill has been paid. This is all thanks to the extraordinary generosity of many people; we don’t know who they all were so can’t thank them individually, but you know who you are, so please be assured of our heartfelt thanks. AND a nice surprise is that the hospital gave us a generous discount on the bill!
The total received is now £5,534 which is just fantastic!
So the appeal is now over and the money left over will be put towards ongoing medication for Sukumar, which is expected to be for the rest of his life.
